Sequin Steve.

Deep beneath the ocean’s surface, there swam a creature unlike any other. A dolphin, yes, but with a twist. His body was covered in shimmering sequins, each one catching the light and casting a rainbow of colours across the dark waters. His fins were not the smooth, sleek appendages of a typical dolphin, but fluffy feathers, like a bird’s.

As he gracefully glided through the water, his tail, long and thin like a strand of spaghetti, wiggled and jiggled behind him. His eyes were large and round, like a cartoon character, always wide open in surprise or confusion, as if the world around him was a never-ending source of amazement. His mouth, shaped like a giant cupcake with a cherry on top, was always open in a big, goofy grin.

But perhaps the most peculiar thing about Steve, the sequin dolphin, was his love for tennis. He would often be seen chasing after a small, fuzzy ball, using his fluffy fins as a racket and hitting the ball with his spaghetti tail. A trail of sparkling sequins would follow behind him, creating a dazzling display that left the other sea creatures in awe.

The other inhabitants of the deep blue would often gather around to watch him play and laugh at his silly antics, but Steve didn’t mind. He was happy to bring a bit of fun and humour to the otherwise dark and dreary ocean depths.

But he was always frustrated by the lack of competition, as the other sea creatures were not able to hold a racket properly, or they were too busy making fun of him. He longed for companionship, for someone to share his passion for tennis with. And so, he began to search the depths of the sea, hoping to find someone who would understand his strange and unique talents.

As he swam deeper and deeper into the abyss, Steve began to sense a presence, a dark and sinister force that seemed to be watching him. The water around him grew colder, and an eerie silence fell upon the ocean. He could feel its eyes upon him, following his every move, and he couldn’t shake the feeling that he was being watched.

He tried to shake off the feeling and focus on his game, but the presence seemed to be getting closer and closer. Steve’s heart began to race, and he couldn’t help but feel a sense of dread wash over him.

Just as he was about to turn back, the presence revealed itself. It was not a dark and sinister force, but a group of curious octopuses, who had never seen a sequin dolphin before. They had been following him, mesmerized by his sparkling body and fluffy fins, and they wanted to get a closer look.

Steve laughed at his own paranoia and felt a sense of relief wash over him. He realized that the octopuses were just as fascinated by him as he was by them. They invited him to play with them, and Steve happily obliged. They had never seen anyone play tennis like that before, and they were eager to learn. Steve taught them how to hit the ball with their tentacles, and soon they were having a blast, playing their own game of octopus-tennis.

But then, something unexpected happened. Ollie’s eyes began to glow, and his tentacles started to shimmer with a strange energy. Steve couldn’t believe what he was seeing, and he couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe and wonder.

It turned out, Ollie was not just an ordinary octopus, he was a created, advanced version of octopus, by an underwater lab. His creators had implanted him with special technology that allowed him to control his tentacles with precision, but he had never had a chance to use it before.

With his new abilities, Ollie was able to hit the ball with ease, and he quickly became a pro at octopus-tennis. Steve and the other octopuses were amazed by his sudden improvement, and they could not help but be impressed by his skills.

They continued to play, and as they did, Steve began to notice strange symbols appearing on Ollie’s tentacles. It was like he was receiving some sort of message. Ollie explained that it was a distress signal from the lab, which had been taken over by rogue scientists and he was the only one who could stop them.

Steve didn’t hesitate, he knew what he had to do. He and Ollie set out on an adventure, using their tennis skills to outsmart and defeat the rogue scientists and save the lab. They had to use all of their abilities, from their sparkling sequins to Ollie’s advanced technology.

They knew that the rogue scientists were using advanced technology, but they also knew that they had an ace up their sleeve: a cherry that was a time machine powered by Tibetan monks.

The cherry was given to them by a wise old monk, who had been living in the deep sea for many years. He told them that the cherry was a powerful tool, and that it would help them in their quest.

With the cherry in hand, Steve and Ollie set out to infiltrate the lab. They knew that the rogue scientists were expecting them, so they had to be clever. They used the cherry to travel back in time, to a moment when the lab was still under construction. This allowed them to sneak in undetected and gather valuable information.

Once they had all the information they needed, they travelled back to the present. Now that they knew the layout of the lab and the location of the rogue scientists, they were able to come up with a plan of attack.

Steve and Ollie knew that the rogue scientists were heavily armed, so they decided to use a diversion. They used the cherry to travel back in time again, this time to a moment when the rogue scientists were still in the planning stages of the takeover. They managed to steal the blueprints for the lab and the weapons, and then travel back to the present.

On the way back to the present in the cherry time machine, as Steve and Ollie lounged on a bed of kelp, they munched on their delicious Subway sandwiches and sipped sparkling cider.

The sea creatures around them danced to the rhythm of the currents, and the light of the bioluminescent plankton created a surreal ambiance.

Steve and Ollie each enjoyed different Subway sandwich flavours. Steve had a classic Italian B.M.T with pepperoni, salami and ham, topped with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, green peppers, mayonnaise, and oil and vinegar. Ollie on the other hand had a spicy Tuna sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, green peppers, cucumbers and jalapenos, drizzled with a spicy mayo sauce.

The sandwiches were freshly made, with the bread being baked to perfection, that it looked like a work of art. Ollie couldn’t help but admire Steve’s sandwich, He said “Wow Steve, that sandwich looks like a Mona Lisa of sandwiches” Steve responded with a chuckle “Well, it is a work of art, but I’m not sure it’s worth a fortune.” The sandwiches were paired with a cold sparkling cider which was the perfect complement to the warm sandwiches.

“Ollie, my dear friend,” Steve said, “have you ever read the works of Immanuel Kant?”

Ollie slurped down a tentacle full of sandwich and replied, “Indeed I have, Steve. His critique of pure reason is truly enlightening.”

Steve nodded in agreement, “Indeed it is. But have you ever considered the existential musings of Jean-Paul Sartre?”

Ollie took a sip of his sparkling cider and thought for a moment. “I must admit, Steve, I have not delved into his works. But I am intrigued, tell me more.”

Regrettably, there was little time for philosophy, as the cherry timer reached the present moment. Now that they had the upper hand, Steve and Ollie knew that the rogue scientists would not be able to defeat them.

As Steve and Ollie approached the lab, the sky above them suddenly turned a deep shade of purple. Strange, ethereal music began to play, and the air around them began to warp and twist. Steve felt as though he was walking through a dream, and he couldn’t help but wonder what kind of strange and surreal journey they were about to embark on.

The rogue scientists, who were waiting for them outside the lab, were now surrounded by a group of hooded figures who seemed to be made of smoke. They were chanting in some unknown language, and their eyes glowed with an otherworldly light. Steve and Ollie were both a bit taken aback, but they knew they had to focus on their mission.

As they approached the scientists, the ground beneath them began to shake and a giant hand made of clouds emerged from the sky, holding a massive tennis racket. Steve immediately knew what he had to do and grabbed the racket from the hand, ready to take on the scientists. Ollie, meanwhile, began typing furiously on a keyboard that had appeared out of nowhere, programming the time machine to transport them to a different dimension where they would have the upper hand.

The rogue scientists were completely bewildered by this strange turn of events, and Steve and Ollie were able to use the element of surprise to their advantage. They battled their way through the hooded figures where Steve used the powerful winds to his advantage, launching tennis balls at the scientists with the force of a tornado. Ollie, meanwhile, used his advanced technology to control the rain, drenching the scientists and short-circuiting their equipment.

As the battle raged on, the sky opened up, and hailstones the size of baseballs began to fall from the sky. Steve and Ollie were able to dodge the hailstones with ease, but the scientists were not so lucky. They were pelted with the giant hailstones, and soon they were lying on the ground, dazed and defeated. As they walked away victorious, the sky turned back to normal, and the ethereal music faded away.

As they walked back to the lab, Steve and Ollie could not help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation. Steve said, “Who knew that all we needed to defeat those scientists was a good serve and some advanced technology powered by Tibetan monks?” Ollie responded with laughter, “I told you, I’m not just good at hitting myself in the face with my tentacles, I can also make a mean time machine.” And thus, Steve and Ollie continue to protect the lab, using their tennis skills and Ollie’s technology to outsmart anyone who dare to cross their path.
